Benjamin “Ben” Pakulski was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on the 18th of March 1981. Ben Pakulski , nicknamed the Pak-Man, is an IFBB professional bodybuilder and the winner of the 2008 Mr Canada competition. In the IFBB he finished second twice in 2008. He increased his standing in the Arnold Classic competition, placing second in 2013, after a fourth place finish in 2012 and a tenth place finish in 2010. In his first ever Mr Olympia contest in 2012, he finished 11th.


Ben Pakulski began his interest in nutrition at the age of 12, when he read about vegetarianism and experimented with it for two years. He began weightlifting at the age of 15 where he was trained by Tom Hall, who taught him the right biomechanical way to do each exercise and helped him to secure his first Muscletech contract at the age of 18. The deceased Peter Chiasson, a health professional with a kinesiology background, is also credited by Ben Pakulski for teaching him in his earlier career. Ben Pakulski started watching professional bodybuilding events at the age of 17, when his father took him to a Night of Champions competition between Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman. His favourite bodybuilders growing up were Dorian Yates and Lee Priest. Ben Pakulski received his training/coaching from Charles Poliquin and Charles Glass, two highly influential figures in the bodybuilding industry. Ben Pakulski married Amanda Vassallo on the 10th of October 2015 and has two children.

Ben Pakulski attended the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated with a B.S honors in Kinesiology. According to Ben Pakulski, it is his intelligent and healthy approach to bodybuilding that has made him well known in the bodybuilding industry. He teaches seminars and coaches aspiring bodybuilders with his knowledge in nutrition and exercise science.

Muscle Insider Cover and Flex Magazine

Scott Welch, the president of the Canadian Muscle Insider magazine broke his own rule by featuring Ben Pakulski on its front cover in 2012. Welch always stated that only winners of Mr Olympia make it on the cover of Muscle Insider. Welch defended his decision by mentioning that amazing bodybuilders deserve recognition and he felt that Ben Pakulski was not far from winning Mr Olympia in the near future.

Ben Pakulski featured on the front cover of the Flex magazine in June 2012 and in November 2013. Ben also featured in the Muscle Mag magazine in July 2013 where it was reported that he underwent a hernia surgery for a protrusion that had effected him for many years.

Ben Pakulski decided to compile his own muscle building program MI40 Xtreme 2.0 in order to share his wealth of bodybuilding knowledge with the rest of the world.
